A little about me...

I’m a nearly-three-decade wife, mom of three grown children, and a recent arrival to the empty-nest era of life. My kids are the most outstanding humans, and my sisters are my best friends. I was blessed to be raised by salt-of-the earth parents. The people I love are an enormous part of what makes my life meaningful.

I am someone who is never bored. I have more interests than I have hours. I’m big-into health and fitness, and I am all-in when it comes to training and competing. I’m usually working toward some "race-cation" kind of fitness endeavor. I am a creator and I tend to have a "project" going at all times.

I believe all of that matters in the therapy room, too. I’m not a therapist who has simply studied life from the sidelines. I’ve lived. I know what it’s like to juggle roles, relationships, family, work, change, goals, setbacks, and all the unexpected stuff that comes with being human.

You’ll get a real person when you work with me. I’ll bring my training and experience, absolutely—but also, curiosity, honesty, laughter, and the occasional well-placed cuss word. Therapy can be serious work, but I don’t believe it has to feel serious all the time.
